Testimonials

Former summer undergraduate student (2024):

I have thoroughly enjoyed every second of my summer internship which has confirmed my interest in immunology and research, thanks to you and everyone in the lab.

Former MSc student (2023):

I have gained so many invaluable skills and have met so many great people. I will miss being a member of the RAD lab.

Former MSc student (2019):

I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing time I’ve had in Birmingham, I’ve enjoyed every part of being in the lab and feel that I have learnt a lot of both theory and techniques. I now feel more prepared to start in a new group, rather than the fish out of water I was when I started.

Former PhD student (2023):

You supported me and challenged me in equal measure and that has made my PhD journey thoroughly enjoyable.

Our group runs regular anonymous surveys to find out what is working in the lab and what we can improve on. In these, we ask team members to describe our lab in three words. The word cloud shows the results from the most recent of these surveys.
